Educational Project

My Little Academy
  • Educational project

Our educational project is based on an education that seeks the integration of all children. We welcome all families, regardless of their belief, religion, or nationality.
  • MLA Curriculum

Preschool education is fundamental. Our curriculum aims to deliver content and tools in a continuous, systematic and orderly way in different learning areas, enhancing physical, socio-affective and intellectual development of toddlers, and promoting their capacities and creative skills.

At MLA we work based on thematic units that present a range of sequenced objectives that cover all areas of children’s development.

In each unit we work with songs, games, music, dances, dramatizations, and different artistic materials to encourage children’s development, interest, expression and imagination.

  • The structural components of the MLA curriculum are:

    • Socio-emotional development (coexistence, autonomy, identity)
    • Language: verbal and artistic
    • Math
    • Fine motor
    • Gross motor
  • Our Methodology

  • Our Methodology combines two theoretical foundations that sustain that meaning is the essence of language and that the human brain can decode any type of language through the process of internalizing the patterns and sounds of language by “imprinting” a linguistic map on the brain in the pre-production stage of language.

Through this method, the child acquires a second language as something natural and unconscious through games, dialogues, and dramatizations.

At My Little Academy, activities carried out on a daily basis allow children to develop skills directly related to learning a second language, such as the acquisition of vocabulary, the development of intonation and fluency of communication, the proper handling of grammatical structures, etc.

These activities, in MLA, will allow tour children to master English and, as they are essentially playful experiences and capture their intrinsic, become a truly significant learning experience that will remain etched in their long-term memory.
